Articles By: Adam

My name is Adam Rizzo and I’m a graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in Sport Management. I’ve been a life long Celtics fan since I’ve grown up around the Boston area my entire life. I’m currently striving to become a math teacher, but at the same time I’m a high school basketball coach and an aspiring Athletic Director. Everything I do is based around sports and I’ve had a desire to be a sports writer, so blogging about the Celtics is a hobby of mine. I hope to be here for quite some time and hope everyone enjoys (and criticizes) my articles!

2011 NBA Mock Draft: Version 1.0

2011 NBA Mock Draft: Version 1.0

In one month’s time, David Stern will be gracing the stage in Newark, NJ to announce the future stars of the NBA at the 2011 NBA Draft. Since the off season really gets me fired up, I decided to put together a mock draft. I’m usually good for one (maybe two) version per year, so [...]

2011 NBA Draft: Celtics’ Potential Targets

In my mind, the NBA season is broken down into four parts: the off season, the preseason, the regular season and the postseason. Outside of our title runs, nothing gets me going like the off season where the draft, trades and free agent acquisitions flood the headlines. Today, I’m going to turn my focus on [...]

NBA Power Rankings: Week #1

Is one week into the regular season too early to do power rankings? Of course not! We do predictions before the season starts, don’t we? The thing about power rankings is you need to get a good mix of how a team has performed thus far as well as where you project them out for [...]

Most Exciting Bench Backcourt: Delonte & Nate

Most Exciting Bench Backcourt: Delonte & Nate

It’s easy to get caught up in the big names on the Celtics’ roster. With four future Hall of a Famers (Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Shaquille O’Neal) and perhaps another in Rajon Rondo, the general public doesn’t know about some of the more exciting players on the team. In my mind, the Boston Celtics have the [...]

C’s, Tony & Nate Have Mutual Interest. What About Marquis?

C’s, Tony & Nate Have Mutual Interest. What About Marquis?

With Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Jermaine O’Neal all but signed, sealed and delivered, we were already thinking ahead of who else would fill out the bench for the Celtics. If the reports are true, Jermaine O’Neal will, like Rasheed Wallace last year, be receiving the entire mid-level exception over the next two seasons. I, [...]
