Video: Rondo Suspended Two Games
NBA News, Video — By Tyler on February 20, 2012 at 10:13 pmRajon Rondo is suspended the next two games for throwing the ball at a ref during the Celtics loss last night. A lot of Celtics fans are saying it’s a harsh punishment, but let’s be real. He deserves it. He lost his cool and reacted in a way that’s unnaceptable. Anything involving a ref is going to lead to a harsh sentence. Now, the struggling Celtics will have to play two games against tough opponents (Dallas and OKC) without their starting point guard. His stupidity hurts no one but the Celtics in the end.

Rondo has GOT to be more mature than this by this point. He’s missed over 10 games now hasn’t he?! C’s can’t afford that. Especially this year.
Kevin Love’s stomping act was much worse than Rondo’s, but it was against a player, not a ref. The NBA obviously protects their refs more than players so the equal suspension is understandable.
Just get us to the damn all-star break.
