Time to put up,or shut up !!
The 2007 Championship is a distant memory and once again the Celtics are faced with the dilemma of signing Glen “Big Baby” Davis. He is saying he wants to test the market, and I say go for it ! the Shrek and “Donkey Show” is over. It has been up and down with him for awhile [...]
JaJuan Johnson: Mock Interview
I missed my chance this year to do a mock draft, so instead I decided to pretend to sit down with the Celtics (eventual) number 1 draft choice, JaJuan Johnson and talk about his incoming season (Stern willing) in a Mock Interview. JC-H: Congratulations on becoming the newest member of the Celtics organization. JaJuan Johnson: [...]
Celtics: JaJuan Johnson Doesn’t Solve Drastic Problems, But It’s a Start
The NBA Draft may have been anti-climactic on Thursday night, but the Celtics were once again good for a cliffhanger that should keep fans thinking. After debate, the two kids Danny Ainge selected don’t look likely to disappoint. But there’s no guaranteed glory role for either, even with three aging superstars casually losing puff, and [...]
Boston Boilermakers – JaJuan Johnson & E’Twaun Moore
Last night, the Boston Celtics selected two players in the draft. They originally selected Providence shooting guard MarShon Brooks at pick No. 25. There are plenty of trade rumors swirling along with teams sending out smokescreens on who they like and are now considering just hours before Commissioner Stern announces the Cleveland Cavaliers [...]
Trade Machine
After reading the most recent Bill Simmons column on his new site Grantland, I was newly acquainted with the NBA Trade Machine. I tried a few combinations including Ray Allen to the Bulls for Kyle Korver and Kevin Garnett along with Avery Bradley to the Magic for Dwight Howard. This one seemed to make the [...]
Jeremy Tyler, Josh Smith and other big issues
I just recently got into full gear of fan-scouting the Celtics’ possible picks for the Draft on…wait for it…THIS Thursday. Fan-scouting is a very tedious, scientifically inclined career path. It requires that you sit in front of a computer screen and plug names into Google and YouTube (respectively, we know they are married but they [...]

Celtics captain Paul Pierce has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season. Pierce guided injury-depleted Boston to four wins last week, averaging 21.8 points on 58.7 percent shooting (27 for 46) from the floor. Pierce also won the Player of the Week honor back on Dec. 20. It's the third time this season a Boston player earned the honor, with Rajon Rondo taking home the award for the first week of the 2010-11 season. Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook earned this week's nod for the Western Conference. Celtics guard Ray Allen was also nominated for the East honor.
